The Unfinished Poem

I put some effort into this
I really, really, really wish

This Week's Principal's Award Winner
This week’s Principal’s Award Winner is Meghan from Ms. Martin’s Kindergarten class. Meghan is a student who consistently exhibits all of the qualities of an outstanding Woodville School student. She is the youngest Kindergarten student in the school and always does her best work, putting great effort into everything she does. Meghan follows all of our Core Values and is especially kind and caring. One of the things that is so remarkable about Meghan is her honesty and sense of fairness. She also constantly shows the courage of her convictions. When she sees something that is unjust or someone being treated unfairly, she will nicely deal with the situation. Meghan is the kind of student who will bring joy to her classmates and teachers throughout the years.

Field Day 2010
Today we had a very successful field day. Many thanks to our PTO organizers - Karen Kennedy, Doreen Joly, and Kim Smith for the many hours they put in to make sure the day went smoothly. Also, I'd like to thank the parent volunteers who were here to run each station!! We truly have a great community!
Fun in PreSchool
Students in Mrs. Sokol's room invited their parents in to see the progress they've made this year. They demonstrated OT tasks, a Speech activity, and treated their families to homemade bread. Great job, kids!

This Week's Principal's Award
This week’s Principal’s Award Winners are Eli and Spohia. Eli, in Mrs. Ryan’s class, is very deserving of the Principal’s Award. He is a hard worker who strives to do his best every day. Eli personifies the Woodville School Core Values. He is caring and respectful to his classmates and teachers. He is always polite and well mannered. Eli works well with others and demonstrates responsibility in and out of the classroom. Eli has many interests and talents, and he enjoys sharing them with his peers. Eli shares a very special bond with his sister, and it is quite fitting that they receive this honor together.
Sophia, in Ms. Bedrick’s class, is a joy to have in the classroom. She is always paying attention and loves to learn. She is hardworking, determined, and consistently follows the Woodville School values. When a classmate needs a helping hand or some cheering up, this student is always there to help. Most importantly, she not only follows the core values with her classmates, but also at home with her family. She is a dedicated sister and kind to her brother, who's also here at Woodville and who is also receiving a principal's award.
