Recently a third grader named Sophia G-S was reading a Weekly Reader called “One Year Later” and felt really bad about Haiti and decided to make a change about it. So, Sophia went to her church and did a raffle which earned $120.00. That made Sophia feel great! She decided to raise money in her classroom too. In her class, she raised $69.00. Sophia’s goal was $50.00, but then she earned $189.00.
