Getting ready for the first day!

Our custodians, secretary, teachers and paraprofessionals, and other staff are very busy getting the school ready for the first day of school on September 2, 2009. Classrooms and hallways have been cleaned, carpets vacuumed, books unpacked, school supplies unpacked, class lists distributed, etc. This is a very hectic time for a school and we look forward to having our students back with us.

Lunch/Recess Volunteers Needed

Hello Woodville Families!!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. We are very busy at the Woodville getting ready for the start of school and the return of students on Sept 2nd.
That being said, there are many volunteer opportunities that we will have this year (car door openers, call back program, library, etc.). The PTO will be sending a packet home near the beginning of the year requesting volunteers for the many programs that we have at the school.
We do, however, have an immediate need for lunch/recess volunteers for the first few weeks of school. This is an excellent opportunity to support the school and our children. The time commitment would be from 11:55-1:15. For more information and/or to sign up, please contact Joanna Shively directly at: joannahshively@verizon.net or call her at 781-246-9982.
Thank you,
Mr. Middleton-Cox
